3.2.1. Loading BundleWorks

A BundleWorks instance is loaded by sourcing a file named "load.sh" inside the BundleWorks 'work/bin' directory. For example, you can load BundleWorks by typing the following within a terminal window (note the period and space to start the command):

. /local/bundleworks/work/bin/load.sh

You can load BundleWorks manually after each login, or you can edit a startup file to do this automatically. The documentation for your OS will show you exactly how to do this for the shell that you use. Typically, you would change /etc/profile to load BundleWorks for all users on a machine or change .profile within a home directory to load BundleWorks for a single user.

Note that the deploy script will ask you if you want to update your .profile file (if found). If you answered 'yes' to this question, you do not need to make any additional changes.
